Denver H. Powell has.

Drawing on personal experience and scripture from The Holy Bible, Denver is a Christian and Gospel artist who blends the holiness of pure worship with mainstream sounds of the current Billboard Hot 100. Incorporating elements from John Splithoff, Lalah Hathaway, and Tauren Wells, Denver calls his songwriting “Conversations with God”. Using poignant lyrics and memorable hooks to illustrate those conversations for his listeners, as each one has been delicately crafted to create cathartic experiences with Abba, Father. Denver recreates this unique style of worship while simultaneously inviting audiences to join him on his journey with his Heavenly Father.

Denver was born in The Woodlands, Texas and moved to Bangor, Maine when he was just 5 weeks old. There he discovered his love for piano and began taking classical lessons, which led to a deep-hearted passion for singing. Now 25 years old, Denver has spent countless hours cultivating his gift of music, and he’s performed as a background vocalist for Al Cooper (Bob Dylan), Weird Al Yankovic, Paul Sullivan (Paul Winter Consort), and Rich Tolbert Jr.. He has also sung in shows honouring Paul LePage, the former Governor of Maine and on local Maine broadcasting of the Nite Show with Dan Cashman, and performance with EGOT recipient John Legend.

Denver has graduated from the prestigious Berklee College of Music, double majoring in Performance and Songwriting. He is currently working on his series called "The Acoustic Sessions, Vol. 1"
